A Most Wanted List That Buyers Could Add Their Requests To And That Sellers Could Respond To

If a buyer searches and doesn't find the item they're interested in, why not let them, in fact why not  encourage them to leave an "item request"  on a list that sellers can monitor and respond to with offers on items they've requested that perhaps they have but hadn't listed.
