Spark Lister is a very useful tool as-is, but it is lacking some key time-saving features which I would like to request.
First, the tool needs some organization options. I did see a topic from another user requesting the ability to sort listings into different folders. This is EXACTLY right, an absolutely necessary feature. Please implement this as soon as possible.
Second, please make a "duplicate" feature. Unless I have a listing already saved as a template, there is no way to create a copy of a previously built listing, without starting all the way back at a template. Sometimes I will want to list a group of similar items which are the same category and brand, but may be a different type, color, number in a series, etc. I would like to be able to duplicate an exisiting listing, then just change the title and make the few description changes necessary to convert the duplicate into a new item. This saves a lot of steps versus starting all the way back at the template every time.
Third, please create something like an "advanced view" for creating listings that has all of the detailed fields located on a single, condensed page. Currently, I have to navigate through 4 pages of options, but the options are all very spaced out to make them easier to read. I need the tool to save me time more than I need it to be easy to read, and loading just 1 page instead of 4 would be much faster to use.
Lastly, there are a number of things that waste the user's time. The flow of the tool could be improved in a few simple ways so as to waste less time:
1. Every time I start a new item, the tool asks me to select my account by checking a box all the way in the upper left, and then clicking "Next" all the way in the lower right. That is a crazy amount of time spent traversing the maximum screen distance with my mouse, and having to do that every single time I start a listing is extremely frustrating. Instead, when I open the tool, I should be prompted ONLY ONCE asking which selling account I want to work in, and then if I want to switch accounts later, that option should be available somewhere at the top.
2. When creating a new listing from a template, the tool takes me back to the templates list after I save a listing. Instead, it should put me back at the item list, where I will be able to see the newly created listing added to the item list. The next action I take will not always involve another template.
3. When creating a listing, I must fill in 4 pages of necessary fields, and in between each, I have to click "Next" in the lower RIGHT corner. But if I want to go back a page, I have to click "Back" in the lower LEFT corner. That is not easy to spot, so please move that "Back" button to the right side of the page with the others, It should be either CANCEL-BACK-NEXT, or BACK-NEXT-CANCEL, or even BACK-NEXT and then CANCEL underneath those. And then on the 4th and final page of entries, the "Save and Sync" option suddenly shows up, but that can make users accidentally choose to sync before they are ready. I made that mistake during my first time using the tool. Mostly, users will want to create a batch of listings, and then sync them all at the end, not sync each listing every time they finish one. So instead, maybe arrange them like CANCEL-SAVE and then have CANCEL and SAVE & SYNC below the other 2, so that users won't click that option by accident so easily.
4. When editing a listing, I must navigate through all 4 pages of details before I can save changes. I should be able to save and exit from any of those pages. For example, if I am only editing the listing to fix a typo in the item title, I should be able to edit the title and then save, not click through 3 more pages that I don't need to make any changes to. Of course, an advanced view like I mentioned above would also solve this problem.
The current Spark Lister tool is a great start. I hope some, or hopefully all, of the recommendations I have made above can be implemented to make it a truly lightning faster lister for someone like me.
