Once a buyer has added an item to their cart, the offer will have an updated status. You can read more about offer statuses on Bonanza below:
- Pre-proposal
- Buyer has added item to cart, has not completed checkout or submitted offer yet

Proposed
- Buyer has submitted an offer to seller OR
- Seller has submitted an offer to buyer
- Canceled
- Buyer has canceled their proposed offer to the seller OR
- Seller has canceled their proposed offer to the buyer
- Denied
- Seller has denied offer price proposed by buyer OR
- Buyer has denied offer price proposed by seller
- Accepted, awaiting checkout
- Seller has accepted offer from buyer
- Buyer has yet to complete payment
- Buyers have 7 days to complete checkout once an offer has been accepted. If the buyer does not complete the payment within that time, the option to mark the offer as "unpaid" will appear under the transaction summary after 7 days.
- Expired
- Payment for accepted offer was not completed by the buyer
- Seller marked offer as "unpaid," re-listing the item
- Checkout cannot be completed once an order is marked as "unpaid" by the seller. Buyer must re-add item to cart and re-start offer/checkout process
- Awaiting payment verification
- Payment must be manually claimed in PayPal by seller
- Money has been removed from buyer’s account but has not been deposited into seller’s account
- Once payment is manually claimed in PayPal, the order will be complete and will appear under the seller’s “Recent sales” dashboard, as well as in the buyer’s “Recent purchases” dashboard
- Payment Declined
- Seller has declined the buyer’s payment in their PayPal account
- Payment Complete
- Purchase is complete, payment has been made
- Conflicted
- Multiple buyers have added same item to their cart and another buyer completed checkout first
- The conflicted order can no longer be completed
- Underpaid
- Full payment details have not been sent to Bonanza, indicating that the order may be underpaid
