Item type not supported by Google Shopping
There are many types of items that won't show up in Google Shopping, either because Google doesn't allow them, because they aren't practical, or for other reasons. Here are the currently known items that won't show up in your items feed:
- Anything prohibited by the Google Merchant Center Program Policies.
- Any items that are marked as "pickup only."
- Duplicate items.
- Items that are identical except for size (in this case, we will send just 1 item of the group to Google).
- Freebies.
- Adult goods and services.
- Cars, motorcycles, real estate, powersports, and other vehicles.
- Copyrighted items.
Allow 48 hours for items to process
According to Google, it can take up to 72 hours before your items show up as processed. In the meantime you may get reports that your items are not loading.
Note that if your items were submitted with a data feed, Google will not grab the items until the time that you scheduled when you set up the data feed. The default is to grab your items once per month -- you'll probably want to change that to once daily or once weekly so that your items get online sooner.
You need to specify a unique product identifier
If you sell commodities, and you find that they're not showing on Google Shopping, the reason may be because Google Shopping requires an ISBN, UPC, Brand, MPC, EAN, or JAN code for your items before putting them into the Google Shopping search. Including this info allows Google Shopping to group items together in product searches so buyers can find them more easily.
Please note that these requirements only apply to new, brand-name goods. Used, handmade, or customized items do not require a Brand or GTIN in order to be published on Google Shopping.
Google Shopping requires Unique Product Identifiers for most items. Check the Unique Product Identifiers page to see what is required for your items.
How do I access my Google Shopping information on Bonanza?
To access your Feed Diagnostics page, simply hover over the "Selling" link located in the upper-left corner of any page and click the "Advertise items" link from the drop-down menu. Then select the "Ad Troubleshooter" tab at the top of that page.
I've made the necessary changes to my items, but they still say "disapproved" on my Google Diagnostics page.
Once you've updated your listings to correct any disapprovals by Google Shopping, you must click the link to initiate a new feed status review on your Google Shopping feed diagnostics page to refresh the disapproval notifications. Google Shopping may take up to 72 hours to review your edited listings. We recommend waiting 3-5 days, then requesting a new Feed Status review from your diagnostics page to refresh any disapproval notifications.
