Connecting your other marketplace accounts to your Bonanza account varies slightly across platforms, but this help page will take you through the exact steps you'll need to take to connect your accounts.
Follow one of these quick links to learn more about importing from various platforms:
Importing from eBay
Importing from Amazon
Importing from Etsy
Importing from Shopify
eBay
Access your "Import from eBay" page by pointing your mouse over the "Selling" link in the upper left-hand corner of any page and selecting "Import from eBay" from the drop down. You can also access the import page by clicking the "eBay" link at the top of the "Selling > Add or edit items" page.
Connecting your eBay account is a very easy process. When you click to “Connect eBay Account,” you will be prompted to login on eBay with your username and password.
From there, you must agree to grant access to Bonanza. After that, your account will be connected.
Amazon
*If you've already enabled a Bonanza app in your Amazon account, it's recommended that you disable it and reconnect from Bonanza using the steps outlined below.
Visit the "Selling > Import from Amazon" page and click the green button to "Connect your Amazon account."
Log into the Amazon Marketing Web Service (MWS). It's important to know that Amazon requires you to have a Professional Selling Plan (Pro Merchant Subscription) in order to sync your items from Amazon to Bonanza.
Accept the authorization to complete account connection.
Once the connection is complete, you will be returned to the Amazon Importer page on Bonanza. From here, you can select your desired import settings and initiate a new import to begin syncing your Amazon items with Bonanza.
Etsy
Unlike eBay or Amazon, when you sync your Etsy listings, it is not linking your Etsy and Bonanza accounts. Instead, Etsy allows you to upload your items via a CSV file. This is a file that holds your item data in a series of tables. To upload your listings from Etsy to Bonanza, simply upload the CSV file that you download from Etsy. Follow the steps below to download that CSV file.
Login to your Etsy account and click on "Shop Manager" at the top.
From there, highlight “Settings” and click on “Options,” which should be highlighted.
From there, you should see a variety of shop options. Locate the menu bar near the top of the page and select the tab labeled “Download Data.” Once there, click the “Download CSV” button and save your CSV file.
Now that you've saved you Etsy CSV file, return to your Bonanza account and point your mouse over the "Selling" link in the upper left-hand corner of any page and select "Import from Etsy" from the drop-down. Choose your saved Etsy inventory file, then import the items.
Etsy uses a different categorization system from Bonanza. After you've uploaded your listings, you'll want to set your categories so your listings are properly indexed and can be found by buyers in search results. Fortunately, Bonanza provides a batch editor tool that allows you to quickly set your item categories once your items are finished importing.
Shopify
To connect to your Shopify store, first login to Shopify.
Once you've logged into your account, visit the Apps page and scroll to the bottom to reach the link to the App development page, then click the green button to "Create an app".
Give your app a name that allows you to easily recognize it as your connection to Bonanza(e.g, "“Bonanza Importer”), then enter support@bonanza.com in the "App developer" field.
Next, click the "Configure Admin API scopes" button to set the API permissions.
Select all of the following permissions:
- read_assigned_fulfillment_orders
- read_files
- read_fulfillments
- read_inventory
- read_products
- read_product_listings
- read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders
- read_shipping
- read_third_party_fulfillment_orders
In the Webhook subscriptions field, select the latest Event version from the drop-down.
Once your permissions and Webhook subscription have been selected, click the "Save" button.
Now that your permissions are saved, visit the "API credentials" tab on the app dashboard to install the app.
Shopify will then generate an API access token. Click the link to "Reveal token once" to obtain the password. For your security, Shopify will only reveal the API token once. Be sure to copy & save the token in a secure place, otherwise you will be required to start the process over again in order to obtain a new token.
Now that you have your API password/access token, return to your "Selling > Import from Shopify" page on Bonanza and enter your API key (found in the API Credentials on your Shopify account) and the newly obtained API password (or "token") to finalize the connection. You can choose to test your credentials, or connect your account.
